Jim Croce carried around a small notebook and put his tape recorder in the cab of the truck he drove to record the material that later became his musical legacy. His mind was full of pictures, mental photographs and memories that he shared with us through his songs.
At the same time, family, friends and professional photographers were taking pictures too. Many of them are here in our photo archives.
